This is the story of my experiences and observations from visting the little known and entirely unrecognised country of Transnistria (internationally recognised as part of Moldova).

'Tales From Tiraspol: A Story From a Country That Doesn't Exist', explains Transnistria's complex history, state of existence and strong relationship with Russia. Additionally, it recounts first hand, the opinions of Transnistria's citizens and gives insight into what life is like in a country that can't be found on a map.

It's a story which is at times funny and at others times tense, but is most importantly informative and poignant.
