About
About
I am an ambitious recent graduate with a strong interest in geopolitics, International Relations and conflict resolution/risk.
What do I do?
I currently work in a freelance capacity as a writer and journalist, trying to gain exposure in what is a very competitive field. My main projects at the moment are creating geopolitics scripts for a Youtube client, as well as contributing to my own blogs, which can be accessed through this website.
What makes me different?
Experience and perspective. Even though I am very young in terms of contributors to this field of expertise, I have a lot of first hand experience of the places I am writing about, having witnessed many of the issues with my own eyes. This experience has assisted in developing my perspective on many of the issues that I write about, into being one which is often separated from the classical clichés which have come to dominate geopolitics and more widely International Relations over the years.
What are my focus areas?
Whilst I am interested in many areas of International Relations and geopolitical analysis, I have two main geographical areas where I focus the majority of my expertise.
These 2 areas are...
Europe's Balkan region, also known simply as The Balkans (Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosinia & Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia and Bulgaria)
Eurasia and the states which compromise The FSU (Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Belarus, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzebekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan)
